About The Author

I try...

People say I’m talented
when they read my poems
they say these words hit like bricks
they are relatable

Hello, new friend! Nice to meet you!

My name is Kim, and I write creative free verse and blunt poetry; nothing is sugar-coated and is straight to the point.

I am a Christian! That is something I want you to know about me. I am just chronicling my journey through life; the ups and the downs; you’ll find them here.

Just a brief history, I started writing at a noticeably young age, as far back as I can remember, and that discovery opened the door to a love of writing. I’ve been using that talent to encourage others. It’s great to see others blossoming.

Thank you for your comments, encouragement, and suggestions. I apologize if I rarely respond. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to visit.

    1. It’s an urgent need–and I confess I still struggle with it as a devout 62-year old Christian. God is faithful, so far so good. Yes I’ll check back when I’ve had some sleep (it’s now 7:15 am, and I’ve yet to go to bed!)

  12. Thanks for following Kim. I’ll join your followers too I think! My poems are, I’m afraid, interspersed with recipes, reviews, and other bits of nonsense, which I hope none the less will brighten someone’s day! Peter

I absolutely love your poems; something about the way you write it really special, I could literally read every single poem and like everyone, which I was just doing now 😛
I remembered one of your poems I saw on the reader ages ago and I really liked it, god knows why I didn’t follow you then, I thought I had done haha 😛
    Can’t wait to read more!

  20. Hi Kim. My name is Eric. You visited my blog probably – I know I don’t look for new contacts to follow – I am a bit overwhelmed actually with over 300. I do not seem to have in records any contact – so, perhaps wordpress deleted the like of follow or what was the reason. Anyway, I wish you well and I hope that your book will be a happiness for you.

  21. ❤ do you ever try to publish your work in literary journals? i have been told, it is the most effective way, to get notoriety as a new author. submitting, a few poems at a time, while you work on your manuscript. then use to your credits in your manuscript submission. or self publish, use in your bio there.
    good luck
