I’ve tried to be the one
who everyone can turn to
The problem is, I always get hurt
in the process of being nice
always giving a helping hand
though I’m not looking for anything in return

Others can count on me
but I can’t count on anyone
In my time of need,
there’s no one to rescue me
It’s time I learn my lesson
