On one side, I have changed,
and on the other hand, I need to change
a part of who I’ve become, I dislike
yet I know, I’m not the same person
I once was so many lifetimes ago
I saw nothing good in myself.

The more power I chase after, the hotter
the fire burns, the heat is scalding; I’m the only
member of the audience cheering for myself
as my life spirals out of control;
my ego leads the way.
