My life used to be so dark and painful
I was on a downward spiral into the unknown
my entire life revolved around my feelings,
those deep-seated emotions, I could not function
any other way. I spent many years searching
high and low for anything resembling happiness
and fulfillment; nothing ever worked out
according to my liking, something was always off.
Thank God those days are behind me.

Set your sights upon God
align your thoughts, actions, and reactions
with His Word the enemy will flee
once he realizes you’re no longer interested
in entertaining his foolish behaviors.
