Let The Darkness Fade

Calm your busy, busy,
buzzing mind down.
Stretch out your cracked feet
and let your guard down.
The stress will melt
from all the positive thoughts
that will now consume you.

Let life take its course.
Flush out toxic thoughts,
you’ll feel better.
Scream if you have to.
Scream until the pain is gone.
Until you are no longer boxed in a corner.
Open your eyes to happiness.
Let the darkness fade into the background.
