Run Far

People search for some resemblance of light,
yet they stay surrounded by darkness
stuck in the ways of the world;
anything else is unfamiliar;
the world is a terrible place of comfort;
run far away from that dungeon
damaged mentalities, they’re stuck in a box.

  1. This almost gave me chills! My wife and I moved out of the city about 4 years ago to live in a house in the woods from the very same notion. We are nice and far away from the ways of the world now. Clarity seems to just happen when you get out. Though my friends and family probably think I am strange, they all envy us and our ability to be so free all the time. They say they wish they could do what we did, but the silly thing is that of course they could at any time.
