Not Good Enough

Cannot fully think on his own
without incorporating other people’s
ideas as his own.
Taught to compare himself to others.
Nothing he did was ever
good enough in their eyes.
He’s a brilliant kid
but he’ll never think
he’s good enough to freely live life.
