Still Pray

Some days, as much as, I am thankful
I can’t think of one thing to say.
Words escape over fences.
Those days require more prayer than usual.

Praying isn’t easy.
Yet it isn’t hard either.
Once the chore-like feeling leaves.
It becomes second-nature.
