For years, I stayed away
from the church house; I didn’t
see the need in worshipping
with lukewarm Christians even though
I, myself, was just as lukewarm; if not,
ice-cold or hotter. I wanted to experience
the real deal if I should ever go back;
holiness is the missing ingredient
in most churches; I didn’t want to keep
going through the same door
—unchanged and unconvinced.
