I used to devote many hours
playing those addictive games

• Farmville
• Yahtzee
• Bingo
• Dominoes

played them all,
whenever I had the free time,
sometimes losing sleep to get to the next level

I’ve lost precious time
entertaining that lifestyle
that time – lost forever –

this Bible of mine,
my new obsession.
I don’t mind
devoting my time
to building a solid foundation
a house upon a hill
I’m preparing,
getting my house in order

I’m devoting that same amount of time or more
reading and memorizing my Bible,
there’s really no excuse
