the full Word of God; it’s heavily
sugar-coated to please the masses.

Pray without ceasing
and stay rooted in The Word.

After a heartbreak, moving on is tough; I spend
most of my time crying and reminiscing
about how things could’ve turned out differently
and not enough time putting myself back together
before wanting to move on with someone new.

I remember pain; I know that terrible feeling
of losing my insanity; there were days when
feeling sorry for myself seemed like
the best solution to my troubles; I’d bawl
my little heart out, focused only on
the disappointments that held me
a prisoner (in my mind).
