Hidden Truth
I watched The Purge movie series
more out of curiosity than anything
while watching the gore; I couldn’t help
but think about martial law; there is a truth
behind everything we watch on TV.

Because of her faith in God, they called her crazy
and delusional; in a blink, they shipped her off
to the psych ward and placed her on
a suicide watch. Then immediately “diagnosed”
her with schizophrenia, bipolar, and some other
scientific name she cannot remember. Twenty-four
hours ago, she was perfectly fine; laughing, singing,
and having a good time with her family and friends
in her right mind—no history of mental health.
