Old Bones

I don’t know you anymore,
you are a stranger
digging up old dirt,
burying old bones into new holes,
pawning buried skeletons
for your pleasure,
trying to parade on my bright future.

My memories of you are too bleak;
too dull; it’s fading into darkness
no light has kissed in a long time.
You are a blast from the past;
a past episode that cannot be repeated.
