What Love Has Become

Young girls sporting tight skirts,
short shorts, and revealing tops
with their faces made up, fake hair, fake nails
acting like classless hookers on the street.

Young boys sporting tight jeans and baby shirts,
exposing colorful boxers and briefs,
their pants almost down to their knees.

Most of these little children, tweens, teens
are spoiled rotten, disrespectful, ungrateful, and senseless.
Encouraged (or discouraged)
to “express “themselves wearing grown up attires
instead of age appropriate clothing.
Being brought up with no morals
supported by modern-day
parents’ acceptance of ‘fashion trends’.

Is this what love has become?
