Flow like a Waterfall

She hates that time of the month
when her blood flows like a waterfall.
It makes her feel like glass,
afraid of breaking and accidentally letting her juice spill.
nauseating, backstabbing back aches
head-splitting headaches, and baggy stomach
pain cleanses her system
while it punches her numb.

  1. You hit the nail right on the head!! I could relate to all your words. Interesting, I wrote a post a few weeks ago called “crazy, stupid hormones and it”.. i may reblog your poem underneath it or as a related post!! πŸ˜‰

  2. You cant express the physical and emotional pain a woman undergoes through those days and you have expressed it beautifully!! Nature gave this women because they can take this pain, but still play the multitude of roles they play in their life. This is to show to everyone else that what a woman can handle and how she can handle much more deep things!! Thank you for writing about it!!
